“The Power of Mentorship” gala raised over $380,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area! About 450 members of our community joined us to show their support for the life-changing work that we do with at-risk children.
We are especially grateful to the individuals, community organizations, and businesses that made donations and sponsored the event, making it one of our most successful ever.
Apart from raising much-needed funds to support our work with at-risk children, the Gala is meant to honor our most inspirational matches and show our community the positive impact BBBSBA has made in the lives of youth. Not surprisingly the most touching part of the evening was the Match Awards which highlighted three examples of Bigs making a profound and lasting impact on the lives of their Littles.
