December 2020 Virtual Activities for Littles

We’re happy to provide virtual activities for our Littles! In this time, young people should be able to virtually gather and enjoy new & fun experiences and make new friends! Sign your Little up for one of these great sessions for young people of all ages!

MON/DECEMBER 7
YOGA WITH GABY
Self-care is Health Care! Start your month off with a sun salutation and then take it do downward dog because Yoga Instructor Gaby is back this month to guide us through a virtual yoga class for individuals of all ages and skill level. Grab a mat/blanket along with your Big, Little, and Family members for another great class!

Holiday Celebration: Bingo!
Bigs, Littles, and Littles’ families are encouraged to participate. Prizes awarded to those who win! Virtual bingo cards shared with participants via email link. Younger Littles and siblings may need help from their parent/guardians to play.

Boss Up! Career Workshop for Teens (Part 2)
What makes a resume stand out? Find out in this workshop! No work experience? No problem! Participants will learn to create a resume that stands out to employers. We will go over the different sections of the resume such as skills, references, and create eye catching objectives. In addition, participants will learn top interviewing skills, and different ways to gain work experience with their new resumes. This workshop will supply high school students with job readiness skills and a great opportunity to network with peers!

Whether you are a Senior or thinking ahead, join us as we dive into the personal statement section of college applications and explore ways that can help make college affordable. We will cover personal statements, as well as scholarship applications. Our hope is that you will walk away from this workshop with a grasp on how to present your best self in a personal statement, and financial support options.
